We have NOW SOLD two 2019 drop Ida Vale stud rams, having been used as stud sires for three seasons.  Still carrying high Post Weaning Weight ASBVs, one is in the top 5% of Australia and in the top 10% of the Lean Meat Yield index, and the other is in the top 10% of Post Weaning Weight ASBVs and top 10% of Eating Quality index due to high muscling and low fat in his progeny.  In additional to high production scores, they were selected for good body conformation and clean points. These two rams are the sires of the 2022 drop rams we are offering for sale this year.

We have purchased two new rams which have been running with our ewes for May June 2024 lambing.  These were chosen for their conformation and their high lamb plan ASBVs, and to source genetics from different studs. 

 

One is from the Boree Park stud, with sire from the high ranked Ashmore stud and dam from Ida Vale, with lineage unrelated to our previous rams.  He has a Post Weaning Weight ASBV in the top 1%, and all indexes in the top 5%. 

 

The second is from the Wandillup stud, with sire and dam both from Woolumbool stud in South Australia, one of the oldest White Suffolk studs.  He has a Post Weaning Weight ASBV in the top 5%, and Eye Muscle ASBV in the top 20%. and is in the top 5% of all indexes.
