Penwortham White Suffolks congratulate Tamesha and Andrew on the quality of rams they are breeding at Ida Vale, and on their recent successes in the saleyards. 

At the WA Elite sale held at Williams on 24th August 2020, Ida Vale achieved at state record price of $29,250 for a ram by Ashmore 17293, which was purchased on-line by a syndicate of three eastern states studs.  Their second entrant in the sale sold for $9,500. 

At the 13^th October 2020 Ida Vale Ram sale, a full brother (from ET breeding) to the record-breaking ram topped the sale at $6,200.  This ram achieved the highest Post Weaning Weight score of all terminal breeds in Australia.  The second lot offered was also full brother and he sold for $4,200. 

Purchasing the third and fourth lots offered, at Penwortham we are thrilled to have brought home two premium rams from Ida Vale to boost our stud genetics, purchasing a ram by Ida Vale 174045 and a ram by Ashmore 17293, whose progeny stood certainly stood out in the line-up. 

Both rams purchased have post weaning weight scores of over 20, with a good balance of eye muscle score of around 2.  In additional to high production scores, they have good shape and clean points.  The sires of these two rams we purchased held the two highest ranked post weaning weight scores for terminal breeds Australia wide.  These two stud rams were offered for sale and have now been sold.
