Jim and Kim Prentice, Kurralea, Ariah Park, NSW and Bob and Idrienne Neill, Wheetelande,
Farrell Flat, SA then combined to outlast the competition for DG 080518, an August drop and arguably the pick ram of the offering
visually, supported by great performance figures culminating in a C+ index of 204.54. They were pushed to the sale top of $20,000 by
a syndicate of the Ryeview, Glenarbian and Tattykeel studs. Detpa Grove is keeping a semen share in this ram.
Detpa Grove 080518 was used as an AI sire for our 2011 drop, and his progeny have exhibited the growth and build expected from this
premium sire. We are currently using ewes and a rams from this breedline.
The 2013 drop featured lambs from AI sire Wingamin Trifecta. This outstanding ram won the Supreme Champion 2012 Royal Show, Senior
Champion Ram, Grand Champion Ram and Supreme White Suffolk Exhibit at The Australian Sheep and Wool Show, Bendigo and Hamilton Sheepvention,
2012 and Supreme Interbreed Ram at Hamilton. We keep bringing in genetics from the best studs sires in Australia.
